Korean artist, Kim Jongku’s use of steel from ball to powder to artforms. See Blogroll for a link to an article by Maria Creyts, for an explanation.

It starts here: the ball of steel from which the powder is taken, has itself, been the subject of a separate exhibition /

Two works of art are formed in some of Jongku’s work, where steel powder falls from the wall or is tossed on to the paper extending from the wall across the floor. Jongku’s work is then viewed face on as well as obliquely from the side to capture the changing ‘hills’ of powder or landscape . This may then be videoed. I recommend reading Creyts’ article for a comprehensive explanation. (See link under Blogroll ‘Kim..’)
