Ray tracing material: ‘Using the phenomenon of light refraction common to everyday life, this block was fabricated to bring an intentional change to the environment.The refracted ray was simulated on a computer, with the amount of refraction changed gradually as it went to the edge. By connecting the planes of different angles with a 5mm square grid with a continuous face, a phenomenon was created in which the light and color from the far side appearing at each coordinate are randomly replaced in spite of the smooth surface.’
